In June 20, a delegation of Pakpasak TechnicalCollege, made up of five members, including Saykham PHANTHAVONG, president of Pakpasak TechnicalCollege, and Keota DOUANGSAVANH, deputy director of Office of Pakpasak TechnicalCollege, visited YUFE. Yin Hong, vice president of YUFE, held talks with visitors and both parties signed the Memorandum of YUFE and Pakpasak TechnicalCollege on Education Cooperation.
Yin Hong pointed out that YUFE is cooperating with several schools in Vientiane and now 82 Lao students are studying at YUFE. Saykham PHANTHAVONG pointed out that, of nearly 5,800 students in Pakpasak TechnicalCollege, more than 3,000 major in Accounting; many of them expect to study an undergraduate program at YUFE; the Chinese Training Center will help them learn Chinese so as to lay a foundation for the study at YUFE. He hoped that YUFE could offer support and assistance in terms of Chinese teacher and disciplinary construction.
Yin Ming, president of YUFE School of International Languages and Cultures, said that YUFE School of International Languages and Cultures has adequate Business Chinese and Chinese International Education teachers; their teaching results are satisfactory; and the percent of students passing the HSK test is high. YUFE School of International Languages and Cultures is willing to provide necessary teachers to Pakpasak TechnicalCollege and will provide a Lao language program as conditions allow.
