On August 26, the 2014 Laos Frontier Trade Studies Class, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, opened at YUFE. Mr. Mitsany Cherpaothao, consul of Laos Consulate General in Kunming, Yang Hui, deputy director of Provincial Department of Commerce, vice president Yin Hong, Wang Rongdang, director of International Cooperation & Exchange Department, Liu Ersi, president of YUFE International School of Business, and 20 students of the class attended the opening ceremony.
The class was the first one held for foreign officials since the Ministry of Commerce’s International Business Official Studies Base was located at YUFE. It was undertaken by Yunnan International Economic and Technological Exchange Center and co-undertaken by YUFE International School of Business. The 21-day class focused on a theme of development of China-Laos frontier trade.
